FORUM TYPOGRAPHIE DEUTSCHLAND -
TYPOGRAPHY AND QUALITY- For the last couple of years the Forum Typographie Deutschland —the association dedicated to typographic excellence in Germany— has been compiling thoughts about the definition of quality in typography.
The objective of this compilation is to develop a document that:
-highlights the importance of quality in typography as one of the key elements in the design process.
-redefines what are high standards in the work of the designer and typographer, describing the guidelines of what makes our every-day praxis and assure
the acceptance of responsibility that shapes our profession.
With this Quality-Manifesto we want to instigate the rest of the design community around the world into a deeper look at how our praxis looks today.
